| smeyer777 08-21-2001 03:42 AM | Wai, I have a question about Vitamine E. I heard somewhere that you did not recommend putting it on your skin (face). I found some coconut oil but it has vitamine E too. I've been rubbing it on, leaving for a few minutes and washing off with Purpose (a very mild cleanser). It seems to give my skin a nice smooth texture. So what do you think about Vitamine E. Also, Aloe Vera, Rose water,or natural masks like oatmeal? |

the same thing will happen if you treat your skin with any aggressive chemical that peels off the top layer of the skin. It makes the skin look younger while it speeds up the aging process. quote: I forgot what the ingredients of Aloe Vera are, but I think it contains some very active ingredients, which is not good. what you need are things that soothing, not activating. (but I may be wrong; can somebody tell what the active ingredients in aloe vera are?) [ August 22, 2001: Message edited by: Wai ] |
