| ASaint 08-22-2001 08:28 PM | Well, as much as I hate the thought of this,it looks like I'll have to be going on the pill again! (was thinking of another option for birth control, but turns out that option isn't available for me). Anyway, after doing some research, it seems that Mircette is a low dose pill with allegedly less side effects and the benefit of helping acne sufferers. | Wai 08-22-2001 10:34 PM | Well, you have a 50-50% change that this turns out good or bad; it will change your hormone levels a bit and this can either cause water-retention (estrogen) and increase sebum production (progesterone) or the other way around, all depending on your current hormone levels and how the hormones of the pill affect these levels; making what hormone dominate. So keep your fingers crossed, maybe life will be easier soon, or you will get a bunch of new pimples... Good luck!!! |
