I have been taking minocycline and two topicals daily for the almost three months.
I have succeeded in reducing my intake of minocycline (I have always been leary and know of the dangers of remaining on an antibiotic for too long) but was always afraid of stopping the topicals since starting the diet.

I started waiting tables again and noticed that my skin was burning during my last two shifts...when it got busy...when I was supposed to be sweating, I wasn't...I was overheating, turning pink...eek:
The next evening...though it was difficult...old habits die hard...I did not put on the topical (its strongest ingredient is sulfur)....my skin started to sweat during the busy hours....I didn't turn pink and my face didn't burn.
I am now off to work tonite with a clean face

yes i had this too it is very hard to trust you dont need the cream i also have used mino it was like my insurance things were a bit under control (while they were not!) but anyway it is hard to stop because you think then you will break out
for me now is easy because im mostly on 100% clean diet coz i break out so easily and when im on 100% clear diet i know for sure that there will be no break out so i dont need mino
but when i do eat munch food than i always think i need mino while it is not even helping me!
isnt that stupid?
i sweat during sleep when i eat bad foods
i also read about someone else that (i think tbruno on absolute) she could not sweat and her face is red during work out if she ate munch foods a lot

Hey, congratulations Meg! I know this is a big step for you. I remember getting to that point with Retin-A. I was playing tennis, my face was bright red, all the sunscreen I had to wear was burning my eyes and I just decided to quit cold-turkey. I was on that awful stuff for years. You haven't been on the Tazorac for long, your skin will recover FAST!
