Hey Wai it's Karen from Voy! This is a spectacular site you have here. What if I eat 2 egg yolks a day, how many walnuts am I allowed? And how many walnuts should I eat to balance out one piece of fruit, such as an apple? You wrote in your post "I doubt you want to eat nuts all day"; but I love nuts! If I could eat mostly nuts after fruits I would be happier. Also, I tried the oil straight, and that worked better than the salad. Are we allowed nectarines, peaches, plums, and strawberries, Wai? How about corn? Thanks Wai!

Thanks, Karen!
With 2 egg yolks daily you can generally consume about handfulls of walnuts.

You can apply the guideline that says 1 gram fat for every 2 grams of sugars.
Walnuts contain 63% fat.
Apples contain 11% sugars.
So if one apple weighs 200 gram (thus containing 22 gram sugars), you would need 11 gram fat. 17 gram walnuts contain about 11 gram fat.
You can view the fat and sugar contents of sample diet-foods here

Yes, that is much more effective!

Yes, but only if it is really raw (sweet, well-ripened) corn...
