| PhiVan 05-30-2003 01:06 PM | i don't eat nuts or raw eggs, only raw salmon, i was wondering if this will cause constipation because of the protein in fish ![]() |
| RRM 05-31-2003 11:32 AM | PhiVan, COOKED protein (and opioid peptides) causes constipation, not raw protein. Actually, raw fish such as salmon and tuna, is rather a bowel stimulant. RRM |
| PhiVan 05-31-2003 12:23 PM | RRM, thank you for the confirmation! I just never knew that salmon can actually be good for my lazy bowel. Peace! ![]() |
| RRM 05-31-2003 01:00 PM | Fats in general are also very good for 'a lazy bowel'; your bowels use fatty acids for energy; to be able to function. Consume more raw fat and your bowels will move more. RRM |
