| Don 05-09-2003 09:35 AM | Can we actually keep tuna in the fridge over night? I don't wanna throw the rest ,and they wouldn't sale less for me. ![]() |
| freshjive 05-09-2003 09:41 AM | I tried it, it turned fishy the next day |
| Schmolch 05-09-2003 10:17 AM | I _guess_ it shouldnt be a problem if the fish is not already on its edge of freshness. The little place where i buy my tuna has the big piece of tuna lying on ice from thursday to saturday (other days its closed). I buy 200g thursday and saturday and have it in the fridge for 1 night. I dont notice a big difference. Sometimes it smells fishy a little bit but it smells good to me and the fish always looks good. Well, the fish looks a little bit different at saturday, but still much better then the tuna i have seen on some big supermarkets where they tell me it is "really fresh" and i cant help but think that its looks like its already 2 weeks old. |
