I _guess_ it shouldnt be a problem if the fish is not already on its edge of freshness.

The little place where i buy my tuna has the big piece of tuna lying on ice from thursday to saturday (other days its closed).
I buy 200g thursday and saturday and have it in the fridge for 1 night.
I dont notice a big difference.
Sometimes it smells fishy a little bit but it smells good to me and the fish always looks good.
Well, the fish looks a little bit different at saturday, but still much better then the tuna i have seen on some big supermarkets where they tell me it is "really fresh" and i cant help but think that its looks like its already 2 weeks old.

I always first lay ice on a plate, put the fish in a small plastic bag on top of the ice, and then put it all in the fridge.

if the fish is fresh, you can easily keep if in the fridge for 3 days
