Hi, I was wondering if salmonella is the only microbe that we have to worry about in eggs?

What about botulism? Does it ever get into eggs?

Thanks

there are different bacteria present in eggs, but what goes for salmonella, also goes for these other bacteria; the more regular you are exposed to them, the better your body is trained in fighting them

regarding botulism;
botulism creates a very strong smell
if your fresh eggs would be infected, you would definitely have noticed (by the unbearable smell)
botulism occurs in 'dead' water
the eggs you buy are not from water-animals (such as ducks), but from hens, not living in the water
so, don't worry about it

a botulism infection from eggs CAN happen in boiled eggs that have been kept in water (/ water containing mixture) afterwards for a few days ("pickled eggs"), prior to consumption
Regarding consuming fresh raw egg yolks, there is no such danger
