Can I eat Salmon from the grocery store since we don't have a fish market around here. The only way they come is in fillets and that is the only fish I can find that is not frozen.

Also, how do I access the old topics from the last board? I have tried clicking on that link but it hasn't worked for me.

Thanks,

Emily K.

Yes, that is okay, but often, that fish has been frozen somewhere done the line anyway...

Yes, it doesn't work anymore. Maybe the old board can be repaired again (viewing only)

How do I find out if it has been frozen? Isn't it bad to eat frozen fish?

Please let me know when it is repaired.

If you have a piece of salmon that has certainly not been frozen, you can compare its taste to a piece that might have been frozen; you will notice a difference that is hard to describe; fish that has been frozen is less tasty, 'flat', 'feels less alive'.

You can tell the shop-owner that you react allergically to fish that has previously been frozen, and you therefore need to know for sure. You don't want "to end up having to sue somebody", "so PLEASE be honest to me..."
