| Author | Topic: Eggs storage in ice cooler / cool place |
| AussieShep 10-31-2002 12:58 AM | Wai, Know if it is OK to store eggs in a cooler with ice for 5-7 days? How about storing them at room temp or cooler during that time? Along with that is the OJ and/or other juices and cut/unused veggies and soy milk. I am not going to pay more for a room with a refridgerator if I really don't need to. |

The taste, smell and looks are not altered in a couple of days. I think up to a week is ok. I have actually turned off my fridge now :-), I donīt need it anymore. I dave electricity and I get rid of that annoying sound of the compressor starting and stopping all the time :-) Fish I buy directly before I wil eat it. /Peter |
| RRM 10-31-2002 08:42 AM | Thank you Peter, nice to see you here! quote:It is better to store them at room temperature to be better able to judge their freshness (the fridge temperature cloudens that a bit). quote:Soy milk? Soy milk is always VERY intensively processed (and very likely causes acne) to destroy all the natural toxins/ enzyminhibitors that soy contains. Soy milk also contains phyto-estrogens that interfere with your natural estrogen metabolism (yes, men also produce estrogen). RRM |

| RRM 11-03-2002 01:43 PM | quote:That is okay , but it is still better to keep them at about 5 to 15 degrees celcius (which is a higher temperature than fridgerator temperature, which is 0 to 5 degrees celcius) quote:ALL soy comes from the soya bean. The soy bean cannot possible be eaten raw, for it contains all kind of natural toxins and enzyminhibitors. So, soy ALWAYS has to be intensively processed before it can be consumed. Whether the beans are grown organically, or not, has nothing to do with that. quote:Whaaa!? Soy, cereals...??? what diet are you on? both soy and cereals are a no no on this diet... |
