Wai, you told Maria that she needed to eat fish or eggs or nuts every day to get required protein. But that's different that what yousay inyour website and book. Which is true?

Your site http://www.13.waisays.com/protein.htm states:

"Even consuming fruits only, you will absorb all the protein you need."

You do talk a little about consuming animal food as well, but you wrote that consuming such just ensures protein abundancy. Have I been steered astray? Thanks in advance.

No, it's exactly the same if you read the book and the site WELL.

Why did you read just a few lines?
If you get to the part where I explain it, you can read that the calculations are based on the following mixed fruits:
quote:
"Mixed fruit (equal portions of pineapple, banana, orange, mandarin, peach and avocado, and 100g of dried figs , 100g dried date + 35 g brazil nuts), contains (in mg) more of every amino acid (1) than we need"
So, again, Brazil nuts are INCLUDED in the fruits that you need.
for all clarity: If you don't consume fish or egg yolks on this diet, you need the Brazil nuts to consume sufficient high quality protein.
I hope this is clear now.
