| sunny 10-12-2002 07:09 PM | Hi! Wai, it seems that I'm really allergic to eggs. My face is covered with a red, itchy rash. I've longed suspected that I'm allergic to eggs but the doctors I had seen before always contradicted each other. When I was on the diet before, I chose not to do eggs to be safe. Thanks to this diet, I know now for sure. So, no more eggs.Raw fish is too expensive for me. I'm going to have to rely on more fruits and brazil nuts for my protein intake. However, I don't have any brazil nuts at this time. What do you recommend as an alternative to these three sources of clean protein in the meantime? Thanks for all your help! moi, sunny ![]() |
| Wai 10-13-2002 03:57 PM | All people that were diagnosed as being allergic to eggs, where perfectly able to eat raw egg yolks, without any bad effects at all. The rashes may be caused by something else. quote:there is no alternative to the eggs / fish / Brazil nuts. So, until you have received the Brazil nuts that you can buy online, ie www.nutsonline.com ,you should eat the fresh raw egg yolks, or some fresh raw fish of course. If you cannot eat any, you should stop the diet until you can... If you decide to eat the Brazil nuts: Once your skin is clear, the first thing you should experiment with, is the fresh raw egg yolks, because you need some fresh raw animal food. (and because so far, all the people allergic for eggs appear to be not allergic for fresh raw egg yolks) |
| sunny 10-15-2002 07:25 PM | You are so right, Wai!!! The rashes went away when I stopped using the concealer. Yey! Is it normal to start craving for eggyolks? I find myself looking forward to my next one. Also, how can I safely store raw fish when I finally buy some? Is it okay to save the unused, uneaten portion in the refrigerator till next meal? Thanks! moi, Sunny ![]() |
| Wai 10-16-2002 12:40 PM | quote:That is GREAT news! quote:Since raw egg yolks do not contain appetite enhancers such as beta-carbolines, it is a sign from your body that it needs more, either because of its protein or good cholesterol contents, or because it's vitamin and minerals contents are better than that of any other food in the world. I advice you to increase the intake of egg yolks. You may try eating 5 a day. quote:Yes, storing it in the refridgerator is safe, since that temperature does not go below zero degrees Celcius (the freezing point). Storing it in the fridge, you can easily eat from the fish 2 or 3 consequetive days, if the fish is fresh of course. |
