AuthorTopic: I was vegan, but I eat egg yolks now...

The yolks taste surprisingly good. Last night I had a bit of yolk with avocado and tonight my avocados weren't ripe so I had a little over half a yolk with olive oil with my tomato/cuke salad. I finally got some measuring spoons and have found out that a)I have been underestimating fruit and b)overestimating olive oil. Funny.
The eggs I got are cage free, no antibiotics or drugs given to the chickens. I'm kind of debating of what to call myself because I don't want to say ovo-vegetarian b/c then if I ever was fed by someone they'd cook eggs but I don't want to lie and say vegan either. And explaining this diet right now is out of the question. I want to get definite results before I tell anyone about it. (I want beautiful skin and weight loss and then explain when someone asks me "you look great- how did you do it? lol) It's weird how important eating is to social interaction. I don't eat out much but just being vegan, and not even raw, has been so hard. I don't mind salads, etc but everyone else seems to have a problem with it. (And they don't look how I want to look so I don't know how they're advice can possibly be taken seriously...even by them).
