Certainly, this system is influenced by scents as well. But, instead for trying to compensate for the bad influences by exposing it to different influences (which is combatting symptoms; which is exactly what weightloss drugs do), one better prevents the influence of those impairing substances. Agree? RRM |

The scents which worked best in Hirsch's study were apple, peppermint and orange(?), all fruit or herb scents by the way. For someone like me who overeats on munch foods, maybe by sniffing regularly on these scents I will be eating smaller quantities of munch foods, which I am going to eat anyway. Isn't it worth trying for someone trying to get rid of overweight so long as it doesn't clash with Wai's diet? |
| Wai 05-23-2003 10:51 AM | this diet is about getting in touch with your natural set point system, not about ignoring, or even impairing / misleading it... you wount be eating less munch foods (because these contain addictive substances), but less natural foods (because these do not contain these addictive substances) |
