| Author | Topic: counteract 'dirty' protein Intake? |
| Carolyn 09-22-2002 05:08 PM | Hello! Is there anything i can eat or do (eg. massage) in order to be able to safely exceed the 15g of protein daily - ie without risking that cellulite wont disappear? Thanks |
| Wai 09-23-2002 01:19 PM | I'm sorry, but there is NOTHING that can undo the intake of 'dirty' protein, except for consuming less 'dirty' protein... I understand that you would like there to be something; that is why manufacturers all over the world can make so much money by selling women 'miracle treatments' that don't work. |
| monica 09-23-2002 02:46 PM | let me make sure that i have this straight: We should consume a maximum of 15 g of DIRTY protein/day? So if i require, say 6 raw egg yolks worth of total protein/day (+/- 18 grams raw protein), i should consume no more than 15 grams of DIRTY protein in addition to that...Right?? |
| monica 09-23-2002 03:00 PM | one more thing...yesterday, i had already eaten my protein for the day via yolks/nuts and my boyfriend suprised me with a salmon sashimi feast!! Of course i ate it (probably 3-4 oz) total. What are the affects of eating too much "clean" protein in a day?? If this situation comes up again, is it better to eat less fruit/raw fat in that meal or even have the sashimi alone? Or maybe have less protein the next day? |
| Carolyn 09-23-2002 04:52 PM | Oh! ok, & thanks for your help as usual wai Somewhere in the book you mentioned that massage helped deport dirty protein, can you be more specific please (what kind of massage or whether it makes any difference as to what time you have the massage) I hope you dont mind that i am bombarding you with questions wai! ![]() |
| Wai 09-24-2002 11:50 AM | quote:yep (btw; fruit contains protein too) quote:you don't have acne, right? Then incidentally eating too much protein is no problem, since compensated by other days. In acne patients it can cause acne since a pimple is caused in a second; it only requires a one-time pinching off of the sebum canals. quote:no. quote:Yes. |
| Wai 09-24-2002 12:05 PM | quote:the time doesn't matter. It is about "lymph drainage". This kind of massage stimulates the lymph flow, and therefore aids your body in deporting wastes and 'dirty' protein. This massage is not about massaging muscles, but the layer between your muscles and the outer skin. So, Lymph drainage helps, but can certainly not undo the influence of salt/dirty protein. quote:Don't worry; Shyan is waaay ahead of you! ![]() |

| Wai 09-27-2002 01:25 AM | Now, don't think that I don't like you asking that much questions; it is REALLY no problem at all; you can ask all the questions you need to ask. If I don't have the time to answer them, these answers simply come a few days later. |
| monica 09-27-2002 08:53 PM | Thank you for your sweet reply Wai....but i think i have finally relaxed about the whole thing and have no need to innundate you with questions any longer. I have made a few adjustments (added a little more fat to each meal and reduced over all protein intake) and my blood sugar seems to be much more stable. I feel really good, actually. Although i am quite sure i will have occasional questions now and then, i have adjusted to your very well to your diet and have lost nearly all of the cellulite on my behind (love that!!). I now where a size 3/4 (sometimes a 1/2!!), where as before i was easily a 7/8 and creeping up. I'm sure if a lot of it had to do with an enormous amount of water retention from all of the salt and protein as i have only been doing this for 3 weeks! How much fat is it possible to lose in such a short period of time? I have also been taking walks every morning for about 45 minutes and have completely stopped weight training. So that's my update. Thank you once again Wai for all of your knowledge, patience and kindness!! ![]() |
| engesongwok 04-08-2003 10:49 PM | Wai, You said "this kind" of massage... what is 'this kind'? I am interested. Can exercise assist in the deporting of dirty protein? What about the normal metabolism, how long will it take for the body to turn over dirty protein, cholestrol build up, dead cells etc... I know everyone will be different according to metabolism, age, weight, race etc... but do you have or know anything about this? |
