I seem to sleep less since i have changed my diet. Last night, i only slept 5 hours and feel pretty good. Is it that my body needs less repair time now? How many hours do you typically sleep a night??

It may be temporary.
Yes, your body needs to get rid of less toxins, but I don't know whether that causes you to need less sleep. See how it goes in the next few weeks...
It may be that you sleep better, and therefore need less sleep; quality over quantity?

I need about 7 hours a night, but that is individually very different. My boyfriend still needs 8 hours a night, even after over 7 years on the 100% strict diet.
