Hi Wai,

This might be a little off-topic for this board, but I am trying to help a friend...

Is it true that in addition to the other problems that eating too much protein causes, that excessive protein can clog up one's lymph system?

My friend is very overweight, and has Hodgkin's disease several years ago. He was "cured" by his doctors via chemotherapy, and is under their direction currently to try to lose weight. Of course they have him on the Atkins plan, which I fear might lead him back to cancer eventually.

I found the idea that excessive protein can clog the lymph system after a quick web search, but didn't find anything that seemed really credible. Any thoughts?

Thanks
Mike

Mike,

it makes perfectly sense to me, and is according to our acne theory;
excessive bad protein ends up in the lymph system, and the smaller molecules end up in the skin, while the larger ones can evenually clogg up your lymph system, indeed...
