| Wai 02-14-2003 08:15 AM | there are many different toxins. Toxins that are stored in your adipose tissue, are trans-fatty acids, because they can be incorporated in triglycerides. Adipose tissue of the average American contains about 5% trans-fatty acids... (check out this webpage) Other toxins, such as heterocyclic amines CANNOT be incorporated in your bodyfat. The statement that "Excess fat in everyone is toxic", is not true. If this fat is build up from clean energy, and no fat-incorporable toxins are absorbed, your bodyfat will NOT be toxic. |
| engesongwok 04-08-2003 11:20 PM | what about fat soluble chemicals, such as pesticides, hormones, vitamins, drug residues, dirty cholestrol? I don't believe that fat cells are composed entirely of fat, there must be water, protein and other components of fat cells. |
| Wai 04-18-2003 04:52 PM | that is true, it isn't that black&white... |
