| Giedre 02-03-2003 07:07 PM | Wai, when I submitted my food to the calculator, I saw there was 0 grams of vitamin H. How can I get the required amount of it, what foods should I eat? Thank you |
| Wai 02-04-2003 03:07 PM | Vitamin H = biotin If your diet lacks biotin, you should add foods to your diet that do contain biotin. Foods that contain the most biotin are: Egg yolk, avocado, salmon, bananas, apples, mackerel and strawberries hmmm, now that you mention it, the USDA has no vitamin H contents listed for egg yolks, so when you submit your diet to the nutrient calculator, you should chose the option "Chicken Egg yolk (Gallus domesticus), raw, [2]". instead of: "Chicken Egg yolk (Gallus domesticus), raw, [1]" (1= USDA, 2= Souci et al) |
