Hi,

I'm wondering how best to approach the problem of going without food for a while, perhaps for two or three hours. (For example, an exam in a no-food-or-drink room, or a martial arts class/test, etc.)

Would it be best to e.g. eat as much fruit+fat as possible right beforehand, or perhaps eat more fat than usual, or...?

Thanks!

The last meal should contain way more fat than usual.
But it is also very wise, especially if you need to be physically active, to stack up energy in the gycogen stores hours prior. This requires consuming lots of carbs in those hours prior. The only effective way to stack up carbs, is by overconsuming, which is best achieved by consuming high-carb, low-fiber foods: juices with extra sugar and oil.
