Hi Wai,
I am 5'9, 122 lbs, just trying to lose some cellulite, and fat in stomach and behind. I have noticed though that I eat twice as much on this diet than when I was starving myself on a 1200 cal diet. I just wanted to say I am so glad to not have to starve myself anymore, and its nice to eat and not be hungry, and still not gain anyweight. I am so thankful for your website, you truely are a genius. [Smile]

Ok my question is that I mainly eat when I am tired. Its almost like I have lost my hunger signal. Anytime I feel really tired that triggers me to eat. SHould I avoid eating at this time?

Thanks so much

I think you're suppose to eat when you feel the tired/depressive signals coming.. when you know that if you don't eat something, eventually you'll be very tired. I'm pretty sure that without the addictive substances, your body's only real goal is to eat for energy.. and not when you're craving some opiates.

yes,
there are many signals to start eating, and tiredness and depression are some of the more extreme ones. So, tiredness IS a signal, and a very valid one, that should not be ignore; When you feel tired, make sure to ingest some energy.

Since you have been ignoring your body, your body only has those 'extreme' signals left as an option to warn you. But once you have resumed to listening to the signals from your body, you will learn that there are also more subtle / sophisticated signals (ie feeling a bit less energetic, or feeling loomy, or calm)

and yes, once you are no longer acting upon the influence of the addictive susbtances, it becomes easier to distinguish and act upon the 'true' signals from your body
