| SB 03-04-2003 03:30 PM | Hi, I am doing this diet since january to get rid of my cellulite and since then I have gained some fat on my stomach and hips. I don't really need to lose weight (I am 5.10 and i weigh 125), but I would like to get my bodyfat down a little, like it was before.(i am a model). and get rid of my cellulite ofcourse! Could you please tell me what i am doing wrong? I used to workout more before(with light weights), but I stopped doing that because I read that that is not so important when you do this diet. should I start working out with weights again? or should I eat less munchfood? I eat one or two munchfood items a day, mostly dark chocolate, cookies, whipped cream, potatoes(fried) with mayonaise, and vegetables. I try to stay under 15 grams of dirty protein each day, but sometimes I eat more and then I eat a little less munchfood the next day. also I am not sure i eat enough fruit. I think I eat less then 2 kilo's a day(including salad and nuts). could this be the problem? another thing I should mention, is that I have not been eating the egg yolks yet, just 100 grams of raw tuna each week and some raw nuts daily. could it be that I am not eating enough protein and can this make me lose muscle and gain fat? |
| Wai 03-07-2003 01:25 PM | quote:YES; less munch food you will automatically need to eat more fruits quote:100 gram tuna a week is too little... WHAT nuts do you eat? Egg yolks would also be perfect because of their natural (good) cholesterol that inhibits unnaturally stimulated appetite (by the beta-carbolines / opioid peptides in munch foods) |
| SB 03-07-2003 03:53 PM | Hi Wai, I am mostly eating walnuts, pecan and hazelnuts. Unfortunately I cannot get any brazil nuts Even though I have gained a little fat on my stomach, the cellulite on my thighs is decreasing a little, so I must be doing something right! I will cut back on the munch food and see what happens... Another thing I would like to know is if it is okay for me to eat olives and sun dried tomatoes. I am sure they contain salt. Will this slow down my progress a lot? (I eat a couple of olives daily in my salad, and sometimes sun dried tomatoes). Thanks! |
| Wai 03-13-2003 08:04 AM | quote:sun dried tomatoes, yes but the olives may not salt is an appetite stimulant, which may cause you to overeat anyway but, it may be a better munch food than other munch foods Time will tell, as you get to know the response from your body |
| Fabienne 05-25-2003 03:33 AM | I have just been on this strict diet for three days and I seem to be gaining weight, which is not what I would like to have happen. I am hungry all the time. Over the course of today I ate: 1 c. orange juice 5 bananas 3 oranges 1 musk melon 1 cucumber 1 tomato 1.5 avocados 10 brazil nuts 6 pcs. sashimi 1 egg yolk 2 T olive oil Is this an absurd amount of food? I am 5'5", perhaps 133 lbs. I spend most of the day studying at a desk, but I also walk a lot afterwards. I stopped working out and lifting any weights and have just been walking, and that seems to be good. But two things disturb me: 1. I eat what seems like giant quantities of food. Could this be because I am still withdrawing from opioid peptides? A lot of people seem to be hungry all the time, but still losing weight. But I am hungry all the time and gaining weight or staying the same. 2. Also, I have trouble falling asleep at night, and am often up until 4 am, having to eat a lot periodically. Could this mean I'm not eating enough over the course of the day? Did anyone else have similar experiences? |
| PhiVan 05-25-2003 11:15 AM | how did you eat all these foods? spread them out throughout the day or all in a 2-3 small meals? i'd also be ravenous if i eat what you eat and i'm only 5'2 (120 lbs). i would eat what you eat but sip juices in between. i can't go an hour without eating/drinking anything. when i eat regularly, my blood sugar is just humming along and i don't feel the urge to overeat. but when i 'forget' to eat or get lazy, i have to pay for it later and my body goes into a famine mode - meaing overeating. but i am trying to avoid that as much as i can by eating/drinking every hour (at least). ![]() |
| Wai 05-25-2003 12:40 PM | quote:Fabienne, please stop weighing yourself for 2 weeks, and then (after these 2 weeks) report back at us, okay? 3 days is really nothing your natural weight fluctuations are bigger than the weight you can possibly gain in 3 days nobody gains weight on this diet quote:you should spread the foods over more meals please read the threads about this issue ("Hungerrrr" in the "mixed experiments" section, for example) quote:that is because these foods contain more water >>> more volume quote:because your energy management is not good enough please read rule number 6 http://www.freeacnebook.com/AcneSampleDiet.htm |
| himeki 05-29-2003 12:56 PM | Hi Ms. Wai, When I read other people's daily of like 10 avocadoes and 10 bananas and a ton of everything, I feel a bit lost. I'm 5'2" and 90 lbs. I'm very petite, very small; and I'm my daily diet is a small (oriental-sized) bowl of rice with about a gram of meat and approx. 2 grams of vegetables (this is the usual trend every morning)and pretty much the same for dinner. As my breakfast and dinner are simple, my snacks are usually a maximum of 3 fruits a day. Now, how do I consume a diet this size in accordance with your acne diet? Are there any easy guide menus that I can just follow? I don't want to deal with measuring and deciding so much. I just need something clear-cut and dry for me to prepare in the morning, and finish off by the end of the day. Sorry for this being so long. Please help Ms. Wai! ![]() |
| Wai 05-29-2003 01:02 PM | quote:yes you need to consume fruits or juices all day; about every half an hour you need to take a bit or a zip you need to closely monitor your blood sugar level; whenever you are starting to feel a bit tired, depressed or weak, you need to take in some energy make sure to consume sufficient fat as well quote:if you mean to say that you only want to eat 2 or 3 times a day, that is not possible with this diet If you only want to prepare something twice a day, that is possible; make yourself some bottles filled with juices... |
| Fabienne 05-30-2003 12:12 PM | quote:Hi, I spread them out throughout the day. Actually I had been trying this diet longer than the three days. The problem is that during the day I am totally consumed by my work and I don't feel like eating so then when I get home I don't get tired but I get hungry every hour, which condition would persist through the night .But I am managing my energy better now that I realize that I really need to eat all day, and I am adjusting also to increasing the fat intake because it means I need less volume of food. And also I have so much energy it is really wonderful--Thank you Wai! |
