| tasya 11-29-2002 12:05 PM | I have a question about clean protein - raw egg yolk and raw fish - is there a limit on how much clean protein one can consume? Looking at different people's diets on this board the amount of clean protein varies - some people have two raw egg yolks a day and others can have eight raw egg yolks a day - I am confused on this point. ![]() |

Once acne patients have cleared their skin with the sample diet, they can start experimenting with 'bad' foods and clean protein. Non-acne dieters can eat more clean protein anyway. So, what are you on the diet for? |
| tasya 12-07-2002 06:02 AM | I am on the diet to lose weight. My weight has been up and down - down when I have been dieting (mainly the Sears' Zone diet recently - which I found required a lot of discipline - before I found the waisays website) but ballooned up when I moved in with my parents with an endless supply of prepared foods available. Now I find I am eating all the time and regaining all the weight I lost while I was travelling, in a matter of days. I have to admit I haven't really tried Wai'sdiet out properly since I've returned but once I start the day eating prepared foods I can't stop and I have been on a continuous binge ever since for the past three days (just as she says will happen). I find I get very constipated on breads - even a small quantity of bread has me in extreme discomfort for two-three days. I also find dairy very constipating as I do not digest dairy well, even butter and I become very gaseous and bloated afterwards; I know eating one icecream or one tub of yoghurt will ensure I will pay for it later. Funnily enough I don't feel as bad when I eat skim milk products but I still suffer the symptoms but to a lesser extent. Maybe there is a problem with the fat component then? Although lactose-intolerance is supposed to be linked to lactose - a sugar? When I have raw dairy - goat's milk - I really don't experience any of these problems - as predicted in the raw milk and Aajonus Vonderplanitz websites but I will take heed of the fact that dairy in general is bad for you because of growth factors etc. - but I was wondering why I have less of a problem digesting skim milk and no problem with raw full-cream dairy? (A thought came to me - is goat's or sheep's milk slightly better than cow's milk because these are smaller animals so they don't have as many growth factors or so on -although of course they still have opiates?) |
| RRM 12-08-2002 02:56 PM | quote:that is because of the sedative opioid peptides in wheat. (they sedate your bowels) One of them is even a lot more powerful than morphine!!! quote:You may experience problems with the trans fatty acids in dairy-fat. In dairy products, there are different ingredients in the protein, sugar or fat one can react badly to. quote:then it must be the trans fats. quote:That might be |
