| Chris10astra 09-09-2002 10:11 PM | as a rough estimate how many calories do you eat a day? I know that perhaps it's not the end-all-be-all of eating but I feel like I overeat even fruits, as bananas never taste bad to me. |

| Chris10astra 09-10-2002 08:06 AM | I want to do the sample diet w/o them, but since my acne's only mild I have a hard time convincing myself to stick to it. I have had some chips and last night I had pasta for the first time in almost two weeks. My overall calorie intake goes up when I do eat munch food...not surprising. I was just wondering b/c even the days I don't eat munch food the calorie range I'm in is uncomfortable (at least after always hearing one needs to eat 1500-1800 calories to lose). |

Forget about it. Just do the diet. If you need it, with munch foods. And if you then, after a month or more, find that you don't lose weight, you start consuming a bit less munch foods. Eventually, you will lose all the overweight. Maintaining the diet is the key. If that takes to eat munch foods, then so be it, and only gradually decrease the intake of munch foods. Don't be too strict in the beginning, because then you will not be able to maintain the diet. If you succeed in maintaining the diet, your body wil automatically crave less munch foods the longer that you are on the diet. So, it just takes time. |
