so i can eat pasta every night as long as my glycogen stores are not full? If i am not very active on a given day, and am not sure if my glycogen stores are low/empty, should i skip the munch foods, or simply eat less of them? How much is 3.5 oz in cups (cooked)? Is cooked tomato sauce ok with that? Will i lose body fat faster if i exclude all munch foods and stick STRICTLY to the diet?

It seems as though the key is to find the munch food LOWEST in protein, but what about cooked fat?? Well, french fries are certainly very high in fat, but have negligable protein, so i assume the cooked fat in munch foods is of no concern???

i went back to re-read some of your book and you mentioned that we should avoid trans fatty acids and other harmful fats. But what about the effects of heated fat in general?? Isn't that a problem in itself? Why aren't heated fats considered to be as harmful as heated/dirty proteins? Do they also have an effect on cellulite/weight gain? Doesn't the chemical make-up of fat change drastically (become toxic) when heated above a certain temp? What effects do pasturized dairy products (ie high fat italian/cream cheese)have?
Deep fried foods (ie french fries)?
The main reason for my concern is that we are eating these munch foods every day. (and i am a naturally an extremely curious (sometimes fanatic) about learning and can get VERY focused on detail. Thank you for your patience, once again. [Smile]

Of course. Sodium makes you eat more.

That depends on how empty they are and on how much pasta you eat, and whether you eat other munch foods.

Yes.

Please do some figuring out yourself!

everything cooked is extra munch food.

Of course, but the issue is whether you can maintain such a diet; it is better to maintain a less strict diet than going on and off the strictest diet.

Bad foods are unhealthy, yes, but they don't turn into substances that have such an influence on neurotransmitter metabolism as beta-carbolines have.
Chemically changed proteins have a far greater influence because they can directly impair neurotransmitter metabolism, or even destroy their receptors.
No, bad fats don't influence weightloss or cellulite.

Not nearly as much as cooking.

Yes, the more heat that is involved, the greater the (bad) effects.

Okay, well then stop eating all munch foods.
If not, then you need to make choices between greater and a bit lesser evils.
That is why the munch foods; it is about eating 'lesser bad-ies' to be able to avoid all 'the greatest bad-ies'.

Sometimes it is essential to find the balance between learning about detail and keeping the bigger picture in mind.

How long have you been eating this way?

As a kid, I already refused most 'normal' food, and preferred eating lots of fruits and fat (butter, cream etc.).
As a model, I alsmost solely ate sushi (sashimi actually), nuts and lots of fruit juices (with egg yolks), plus chocolate chip cookies and other munch foods.
Then, when I moved back to The Netherlands to help my sick mother (she took numerous different medications and was overweight), I adapted my diet to a more 'normal way of eating', and got acne.
Then I went back to a diet of fruits, yolks, fish and nuts, and some munch foods. My mother is no longer overweight, is healthy and doesn't take any medication.

When did you actually begin researching about this way of eating? What type of education did you receive to acquire such AMAZING knowledge?

A little over 7.5 years ago, when I met my current partner.

None. (I have received some education, but that had nothing to do with biology/biochemistry/etc.) All I did was reading books about biochemistry to get a basic grip first, and then started reading / researching thousands of scientific studies. That was like collecting small pieces of a big puzzle.
