| Author | Topic: diet cannot treat hormonal imbalance ? |
| joshitoshi 06-08-2003 12:33 PM | i read the wai says online book - the entire thing. but the part of it that trips me up is where it says ppl with a hormonal imbalance cannot expect to rid their acne from this diet. i really fear that i might fall into that category. i constantly have severe acne but it is only in my mouth/chin area - no where else. ive had acne since i was 14 (im now 23) am i screwed here? did i read that passage wrong? suggestions - help needed... |

I've read that some people cleared most of their acne but not all due to hormones. But you won't know if you don't try the diet, right. It's only two weeks before you see some sort of result. You may also go to a doctor to check out your hormone levels, only a doctor can do this. |

But, the influence of the hormones may not be to great at all. Maybe their influence can very well be compensated by the water retention-decreasing influence of the diet. Hormonal influences are individually VERY different. If your acne is hormonal, the diet may still be able to eliminate your acne, or not. RRM |
