| bookworm 06-05-2003 01:29 PM | Greetings! I've been a vegetarian for a few years now, and as a result, my skin has been clearer - but not perfect (I am considering starting this diet). Last month I went on a camping trip with friends and they did alot of grilling - for convenience, I brought along many processed soy products ("burgers" "hot dogs" "bratwurst") so we could cook and eat together. (I still ate fruits and veggies, too.) Also during this time I was not as rigid about my facial cleansing. I still did it, but I used a milder soap. We started the trip on Friday. Buy Sunday I began to break out and for the next several days had many more blemishes than usual. I was wondering if this was due to the processed soy products. I ate several of them each day, more than I usually consume. From what I've read here, that sounds like a possibility. But since my cleansing routine was a bit different, I'm not sure what the cause was. Perhaps starting this diet will help me pinpoint such things. Thanks, Chrys |
