What acctually causes greasy skin...is this a sign that your going to have an outbreak? Can greasy skin be linked to anything in the diet? Even thought I get Greasy skin on my face I get very few spots there!! Is greasy skin linked to acne?

When your outer skin is dehydrating, your skin starts to increase it's oil production to counteract this dehydration (oil is protective)
Acne patients often have an oily skin, but not oily all over, but more a mixed oily / dry skin.
In acne patients, the increased oil production is due to the dehydration of the outer skin due to an overload of water attracting molecules in the true skin (distracting water from the outer skin), and the due to the pinching off of sebum canals, which prevents sebum from reaching the surface of the skin (the sebum is also protective against dehydration).
So, it is a reaction to processes that dehydrate the outer skin.
After eliminating this dehydration AND the pinching off of sebum canals, your oil production will go back to normal.

Yes, where the oil can reach the surface of the skin, the sebum / oil canals (they share the same canals) are obviously not pinched off too much, which means no acne either (accumulation of sebum).
