I have read that people have cleared up their acne by using plant enzyme supplements. The kind that I have purchased contains Amylase, Bromelain, Papain, Cellulase, Diatase, and Phosphatase. It contains no gelatin but has silica, vegetable cellulose, vegetable glycerin, and purified water.

If the above components are not good, what about pure Papain(from papaya) supplements?

Your digestive system secretes enzymes to the extend that they are needed in the digestive tract. If you would manage to add external enzymes to the digestive juices, your digestive system would respond by producing and secreting less of these enzymes. so, eventually, the effects may be adverse if they have had some effect in the first place.

Also, the enzymes that you name, are just a few of the enzymes present in the digestive tract (for the different combinations of amino acids for example, you also need different enzymes...)
And by adding just a few, you may imbalance the the digestive juices, which has adverse effects to the digestion process.

Furthermore, it depends on the food that you eat (and the combination of foods), what ratios of enzymes are required. This is always different, and therefore it is impossible to properly supplement, EVER.

Also, these enzymes are required in a certain order, and in different places of the digestive tract in different combinations, which is impossible to complete by using supplements.

Your body knows exactly how to digest food. Just supply your body with every nutrient it needs, and burden it as little as possible with harmful substances.
