| jay_1 05-10-2003 01:28 PM | These brown spots are often refered to as Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation. It occurs as a side effect of the healing process, so that means, LEAVE THEM ALONE! Unfortunately there is no real solution for making these spots fade faster. There are products that claim to lighten them up, but as Wai said, they are dangerous. So please, you must be patient. Not to make you feel any worse, but these spots may not fade completely for up to 6-12 months. If you want more information on these spots, look it up on the net, there is a wealth of information regarding these spots. They are called Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation or Post-Inflammatory Euphoria. |
