| acneprobs 04-14-2003 04:44 PM | Wai, I have recently found your information on the net. Doing a google search of course. I have been reading all day long. I just located your online book today. I am so pleased I did. I can't wait to get started. Can you tell me how much this is going to cost me? I am wondering however, if this is going to cure my cystic acne. I have been on everything, my last resort was to take Accutane, but I chickened out and flushed them down the toilet. The side effects were extreme even suicidal in some cases. I am just so disgusted with my face. I get 3-10 new breakouts daily. Some are minor, but most are cystic and hurt when I wash them or even when I sleep on my pillow. They itch as well. I wash my face with Aveeno Face Cleanser that contains 5% salicylic acid, I tone with an astringent cleanser that contains 10% salicylic acid and then a Benzoyl Peroxide lotion. My skin is scaly and doesn't look any better. To top it off my skin is a completely different color from the rest of my body. Seems that the pigment on my face has changed somewhat. I hate it! I have tried everything and these cysts just won't go away. I did take Birth Control Pills for about six months, they really helped. My skin suffered no breakouts, only one or two during that time I took the placebo pills with the expectation of the onset of my menstrual cycle. I stopped taking the pill because I was depressed and picked up weight. Can you tell me if this is going to help me. How long before I will see results. |
