Author	Topic: how to get rid of ingrown hair?
Isis 01-12-2003 02:45 PM	Hiya Wai, I noticed that a lot of the acne-like bumps on the back of my thighs are actually trapped hair growing underneath the skin. I have very coarse hair. The funny thing is that I don't shave or remove my hair so I can't understand why every few days I get another ingrown hair...it's like they can't seem to find the way out!!! If I rub my hands across my skin it still feels really bumpy. Today I got soooooo mad about it I got a clean sharp pin and started to free up some of the 'trapped' hair, but I stopped because I knew it will only cause scars and that they would come back anyway. I was thinking of going for epilight laser ingrown hair treatment, but just wanted to know if you know any other means of at least PREVENTING more ingrown hairs (given that I don't actually shave that area!).
