I've read a lot of info concerning "folk" remedies for skin problems. I think that since the skin is so sensitive to absorbing things that topical application of foods that are good digested should be good applied? A lot of the remedies include putting eggs, avocado, cucumbers, etc on the face. What do you think? Is it worth a try?

Skin problems can only be solved by taking away the cause.
The cause is never 'a lack of food on your skin', and foods on your skin can never take away the cause.
The counteract skin problems, you first need to know what causes your skin problem. What problem are you talking about?

Unfortunately, it is not that simple.
Your digestive system contains all kind of enzymes and acids to digest or destroy potentially hamrful substances. The skin does not. So, foods that can be digested well, can easily trigger adverse effects when applied on your skin.
What is your exact aim?

What is the problem exactly?
