| Klodoggg 10-13-2002 01:08 AM | Where do I get Cucumber Oil? I've checked all sorts of essential oil shops and they don't have it.... Am I supposed 2 make it? |
| Scott 10-13-2002 09:53 AM | Yes, you probably need to make it yourself because it only stays fresh for a day or two. Hopefully you have a juicer. |
| Klodoggg 10-13-2002 11:46 AM | How exactly do u make it? I do not have a juicer... Why is it called cucumber oil and not cucumber juice then? |
| Wai 10-13-2002 03:22 PM | Just peel a cucumber, and mix it in a blender, or use a juice extractor. If you don't have a blender / mixer or juice extractor; you may find it very useful for your fruits too. If you don't feel like drinking fruit juices, then you better buy a blender / mixer (for the cucumber juice), because these are cheaper. But if you do like juices, you better buy a juice extractor, because these juices do not cause acne (unlike those from the blender / mixer) Yes, cucumber juice is a better name than cucumber oil. |
| ongwb78 05-09-2003 01:25 PM | Hi Wai, is it ok for me to blend cucumber using a blender for it's juice? ![]() |
| Wai 05-09-2003 01:26 PM | yes! |
| Amon 05-29-2003 12:37 PM | You suggest cucumber juice? I bought a juice extractor solely for this purpose but I am thinking my God this is going to be soooo time consuming. Do I need to juice a cucumber everytime I wash my face? Does cucumber juice keep in the fridge? Do I use my fingertips to wash or a cottonball or a washcloth? Also about the rosewater how does one wash with that? I apologize if these questions sound retarded but...this is all so foreign to me and I want to get it right. Thanks in advance. Amon ![]() |
| jay_1 05-29-2003 12:40 PM | quote:Your local grocery store sells flat square, sometimes round, cotton pads. After you wash your face--remember not to use soap--or take a shower, sprinkle some rosewater onto the cotton pad and gently scrub your face with it. There is no need to wash your face after applying the rosewater. Where can I get rosewater? Fellow board members suggest Home Health Rosewater. If you use the rosewater, it is not neccessary to use the cucumber juice. GOOD LUCK!! If you have any more questions browse the forum first, chances are someone has already asked your question. |
