| MxPx 10-06-2002 02:21 PM | Does anybody know of a place online that sells rose water??? |
| hollywood 10-06-2002 04:47 PM | Home Health Rose Water this is the type i have. it claims to be a body splash and hair rinse but since its only ingredients are purified water and oil of rose, i assume this is the kind Wai recomends for the face. Wai, is this correct? |
| Wai 10-07-2002 02:04 PM | yes! |
| MxPx 10-12-2002 04:04 PM | so rosewater is the best thing u can have to wash your face??? |
| Scott 10-12-2002 05:42 PM | Distilled (mineral free) water has been working well for me. It's inexpensive and should be available at any grocery store. |
| Wai 10-13-2002 03:10 PM | You can also use cucumber juice, which you can make yourself (by blending cucumber in a mixer, or obtaining the juice from a juice extractor). |
| MxPx 10-14-2002 01:29 PM | how do i wash my face with it. Like do i just smear it on and let it sit for a while or what. Like how do i apply it. Also the same question for rosewater. Do i just rinse my face with it and then pat dry or do i have to rinse it off with normal water after i'm done with the rose water. |
| Wai 10-15-2002 12:19 PM | Use a piece of cotton wool that we use to remove our make up. Soak the piece of cotton wool in cucumber juice or some rosewater, and then use that to clean your face. After using the cucumber juice you need to splash water on your face (not after using the rosewater). |
| wr_uae 01-30-2003 11:34 AM | Hi, I just want to double check that the rose water I have been using for the past 2 weeks is ok to use...its a product from france so I'm not sure if some of the chemicals are in french. the ingredients are:- ROSEWATER - METHYL PARABEN - 2 - BROMO - 2 NITROPRO - PANE - 1, 3 - DIOL - PROPYL PARABEN thanks wayne |
| Wai 01-30-2003 11:47 AM | yes, its okay. The paraben and the 2-bromo-2-nitropropane-1,3-diol are just there to make the rosewater last longer. The last ingredient should not be exposed to temperatures over 45 degrees celcius. |
| Cheryl2002 03-28-2003 09:07 AM | Sorry Wai, I would liek to try a different brand of rose water but oddly ....apart form purified water and rose water, it contains Amaranth too. Is this ok? Thank you! |
| Wai 04-03-2003 01:16 PM | hmm, i wonder why the amaranth is contained... if your skin does not react adversely, it might be okay sorry that i cannot be of more help |
| Cheryl2002 04-04-2003 08:12 AM | Hi Wai, indeed I also unsure why it's included? I checked it up in the web and it's supposed to be some sort fo herb with same properties as rosewater. Nevertheless I tried it for the past 2 days....seem ok...I will see how it goes...afterwhich i will go back to the previous brand with just rosewater B.P.C. itself... Thank you! |
