pop/clean them, because if you leave them, they may cover a larger area of skin; the less area covered, the smaller the 'wound'.

What is the proper way to pop/clean them?
for some reason the "whiteheads" that I have are really hard or tube like....sounds gross, but it's true.
I end up squeezing and then my skin will tear or something like that......

In that case, you need to make small incision in the surface of the whitehead first (BEFORE you apply any pressure), so that the pus will get deported exactly there, and so that you don't have to use that much pressure (which may indeed hurt your skin much more). You don't need to make a real cut, penetrating the top of the whitehead is generally adequate enough.
You best use a needle for this, which you first have to make sterile by heating it in a flame. (from a match or lightner)

Then what should we do with those painful under the skin red bumps that don't have a whitehead. Will this diet shrink them or bring them to the surface. Is there anyway to make them come to the surface faster?
