Please excuse all the drama but I need advice. The diet actually works, I have only two small pimples that are beginning to fade. Anyways I had my first laser treatment today. I go 5 more times, once every month. If my skin is responding to the laser the right way and the scars start to leave than I'll go another six months. The doctor feels that this laser is going to work on my skin. He, however, said that I need to apply the following to my faace to prevent infection:Triaz (benzoyl peroxide 6% cleaner) and Bactroban cream 2%. I have yet to use the benzoyl peroxide but I have used the bactroban. After my workout today I cleansed my face with rose water and then I [Cool] applied the bactoban. I believe that I was told to use it for 7-10 days. Wai please tell me if I am doing anything wrong. Thanks and lots of Love. Chow Darling. Sincerley, Thespian

phew, these aggressive creams can cause adverse reactions; your skin may start to increase the production of sebum to undo their dehydrating effects, which may cause acne.

One should NEVER start laser treatment as long as your skin has not been clear for at least a year yet.
First you need to clear your skin. Then you need to give your skin the time to heal, and for your scars to fade away. THEN you can start evaluating which scars wount fade away...

Now that you have already started with the laser treatment, you better keep following the directions of your doctor.

PS:
Application of benzoylperoxide may cause hyperpigmentation of the skin.

Well it's two days later and I have no new occurences of acne. My skin is actually clear for the first time. I have not used the benzoylperoxide. However, I have been washing my face with the rose water and I also have been applying the bactroban. This is my last semester of college and I am hoping that the stress will not accumulate and cause me to break out again. Pray for me. Until 2-morrow
