I have just looked at www.acne.org and would like to ask you how severe your acne is?
I personally have tried all the over-counter products and nearly all the prescribed drugs except accutane, and they didn't work for me as my acne was quite severe 6 months ago, but now its not so bad, this diet doesn't work for everyone and if your addicted to chocolate and sugar I wouldn't say you could really try to eliminate your acne with this diet. as the only sugar you can have is in fruit, not chocolate.

The regime of acne.org contradicts MANY if not all the information provided by Wai and RRM. It's great the acne.org regime works for you, but the long term effects of all the chemicals your absorbing into your skin can be negative.

If your determined to clear your acne, you need to follow the freeacnebook.com diet. You won't know what "junk foods" your body will cope with unless you follow the diet strictly. Good Luck!

well, if you think your acne is not that bad, and if you like 'munch foods' so much, this diet is probably waaay to strict for you!

for one part, all acne is hormonal (acne = elevated sebum production + water retention in the true skin)
what we call hormonal acne on this board, if the hormonal aspect is of far greater influence than the water-retention aspect
