| SB 04-11-2003 03:45 PM | Hi Wai, I am not sure where to post this, so correct me if I should have posted this elsewhere... I am doing the diet to get rid of cellulite and I have never had any pimples ever, but now I have a couple of pimples on my chin and also some bumps that are not really pimples, but sort of underneath the surface of my skin. How can this be? I hardly eat any munch food anymore, because recently I start feeling sick (nausea) right after eating munch-food. Is this normal? I figure my body starts to prefer fresh raw food and doesn't like 'regular' food anymore, what do you think? Another thing I am experiencing is that I sometimes feel very dizzy (like I am going to pass out). what can I do to prevent this? My boyfriend has the same thing (he is also sort of doing the diet with me, but less strict). Wai, besides the dizziness and the occasional nausea I feel terrific ever since i started your diet and I would like to thank you for answering all of my questions, I really appreciate it. SB |
| Wai 04-18-2003 07:42 AM | thank you SB, you're welcome!quote:how old are you? quote:yes, the longer you are on this diet, the more your body has learned the difference between ingesting lots of bad substances, and not ingesting them, and it obviously prefers the latter nausea is a physical reaction to the 'registered' uptake of unwanted substances into your body the nausea can only occur after your body has learned to distinguish the bad substances |
| SB 04-18-2003 11:27 AM | I am over 30 and actually I have noticed that when i don't eat any munchfood for a couple of days my skin clears up completely... What about the dizzy feeling? what can be the cause of that? I am eating everthing you suggest except for the brazil nuts (I eat walnuts, hazelnuts, pecan or almonds instead.) I eat 2 eggyolks a day or 50-100 grams of raw tuna, lot's of fruit followed by nuts, juices with o.o. and the salad. |
| Wai 04-18-2003 01:21 PM | oh, i'm sorry, i looked over the dizzyness issue The dizzyness (with this diet) is generally caused by a lack of glucose for the brain, at some moment. this easily happens on this diet because you easily undereat while on this diet... rule number 6 is essential regarding this issue how many meals/times a day do you eat? |
| SB 04-19-2003 08:33 AM | Hi Wai, I eat all the time, three meals a day and lot's of fruit followed by nuts in between meals and some juice with o.o. I do not drink a lot of water, because I am not thirsty except when I workout, could that be it? or maybe the fact that I have had a problem with low blood sugar in the past (hypoglycemia), in fact that is why I learned to eat small meals and snacks constantly, I even eat before I go to bed... ![]() |
| Wai 04-25-2003 05:19 AM | quote:no and, drinking lots of juice, you don't even need the water quote:yes, that confirms my suspicion! so, you need to be even more aware of this issue, and need to select easy to digest, high energetic foods over others. quote:can you try drinking more juice, and add some sugar to the juice as well? zipping from the juice all the time is MOST effective... |
| SB 05-02-2003 12:02 PM | Hi Wai, Okay, I did the juice and oil this past week (I can't put sugar in my juice, because my body cannot handle sugar at all and besides that I like to keep the diet as natural as possible.) Anyway, the dizzyness is still there. I submitted my diet to the nutrient calculator and it showed that I am not getting enough iron, calcium, zinc and b12. I started taking b12 and calcium/zinc.(as I wrote in my other post). but still the dizzy feeling is here and I am very tired sometimes. Could the iron be the problem? I am sure I am eating enough (over 2000 calories, on a regular diet I would eat only 1700 calories). Or could it be a detox reaction or something? |
| Wai 05-02-2003 12:25 PM | it may be a lack of sugars, or a lack of iron, indeed to counteract this, you need to increase your iron intake the highest in iron are egg yolks: 7.5 mg / 100 gram!!! (containing the B12 and zinc as well...) regarding calcium, please read this site: http://www.4.waisays.com why cant your body handle sugar? |
| SB 05-06-2003 01:14 PM | I get cramps from eating sugar and besides that I think it is poison and not wise to eat. In fact there is a test that scientists use to test artificial sweeteners before they decide if it is safe to put on the market. If sugar (I am talking about plain white sugar) was put through that test today it would be considered unfit for human consumption, because of the damage it can do to your teeth, the weight gain it can cause and of course diabetes. Unfortunately sugar was never submitted to such a test, because when they brought white sugar on the market, such a test did not exist yet. And they will not admit sugar is bad for you now, because they are making lot's of money. Almost everybody in the western world is addicted to sugar. The more you eat it, the more you crave it because chromium is being used up as you eat it and yet is necessary to utilize more sugar. Even people who say they don't eat sugar, may be eating sugar anyway, since it is in bread, crackers, meat, even cucumbers and tomatoes are being injected with sugar to improve taste. I really love your diet, Wai, but I cannot understand why you would want to add white sugar to such a healthy way of eating. Raw Honey works just as well and would be a healthier choice since it still contains all it's natural vitamins and minerals. |
| gavriel 05-07-2003 03:52 PM | I was woundering about the same thing (and posted a question in another thred about it, but did not get en answer...actualy to any of my posted questions...yet [which is of course O.K.]). Why not making honey the 'standard' addition of sugar in this diet? I understand that there is suchroz in honey as well but there must be a difference when you take it in a concentrated 'cleaned' way... like in plain sugar. I wlso noticed that I can intake better juices with honey (the very liquid type) than with sugar. The juices with sugar feel good at the momment when you drink them but then cause discomfort in the stomach and you can drink less of it, getting a crave for plain water (in my case at least). A spoon od Honey calms the stomach down and makes you want to drink more... |
| Wai 05-09-2003 11:46 AM | quote:overweight is not caused by sugars or fat, but by ingesting too much energy. please check out this part of my book: http://www.freeacnebook.com/Part-4.htm diabetes is not caused by sugars, but by impairing the insulin system: link quote:this isnt the case with sugar only: to metabolize any nutrient, you need other nutrients... for example: to process protein, especially vitamin B2, B6 and folic acid is being used... that doesnt mean that (undamaged) protein is unhealthy quote:it is not my problem that you cant understand a valid motivation is if you lack energy if you dont add sugar (honey may cause an acid reflux) quote:you dont need honey for nutrients, because the fruits and animal food already supply you with everything you need BTW, do you know that both honey and sugar contain lots of sucrose? |
