Hi dear Wai, I am male, 16 and I use to weight 145, but after about a month in this diet my weight is now 136, is this o.k? I still breakout
in my face and back, is this o.k after a month?
do you have any recommendation about people with very oily skin? {especially in the face}

I usually have for breakfast at 6am {3 oranges with olive oil}, and eat again until 4pm, is this bad routine? I guess is a lot of hours without eat, any tips?

136 is very thin, but not unusual for a teenager
if it is unwanted weightloss, you should improve your diet
if you still break out, you might be doing something wrong
What do you eat exactly?

yes, please check out the skincare forum, and do everything right regarding the diet

Ah, well, that is where you go wrong...
during those hours, your body converts muscle tissue in available energy, which leads to weightloss and results in the release of many small protein molecules, which lead to water retention: acne

Make sure to carry juices with you all the time (and/or dried fruits and nuts) so that you can ingest enough energy constantly

Hi dear Wai, I am 16, 5'8ft, 133lbs and i have been doing your diet for about 1.5 months now, I still breakout[very small], but is discouraging [Frown] , I follow the rules and my question is if i have to obey the RDA in the nutrient calculator?
Because i really dont see how i can get '3000' calories by doing this diet, or get 50g of protein, i am usually getting about half of the RDA, like only 1500 calories and 24g of protein daily, am i doing this diet fine?, btw i cant eat nuts because they make me breakout [even if unshelled, which makes it really harder to get protein or fat] my daily diet is basically: 3 egg yolks, olive oil, maybe 1 avocado, a salad and fruits, should i increase the number of egg yolks? would u say this diet does not work on me? [Confused] , maybe my hormones are crazy, ty

Hello Jhontry,

Im curious, is your acne better now then it was prior to going on the diet? How bad was your acne before. Are you eating plenty of fruits and following it with fat.

I hope that it works out better for you. A month and a half on a strict diet is very tuff. But don't give up!

Dear John,

you are undereating
and as i previously wrote, undereating can also cause acne, because it results in the breakdown of large muscle proteins into lots of smaller protein molecules, which attract more water (causing the pinching off of sebum canals)

i would advice to first try to do the diet right, by ingesting enough calories and protein (please read the tips).
if you then still get acne, there may be someting else we are overlooking at the moment, or not.

Hi, ty for your response, i am not doing the diet right, but i will start by adding more egg yolks, 5 a day maybe, drinking more OJ and i will keep you updated [Smile]
