| lyn 11-21-2002 09:30 AM | I met a woman while i was out shopping several days ago and i ended up sharing Wai's diet with her because i noticed she suffered from acne....We ended up exchanging phone numbers...She called and said she's been on the diet for 3 days now and her stomach is feeling nauseated....like she just drank too much water or something...she said she's been feeling like this for day 2 and 3 of the diet. She seems to be doing the diet well as far as what she's consuming. I wrote it down for her.she's consuming enough energy i believe and doing the yolks too. starting out with 1 teaspoon and gradually increasing...anyhow, i told her that it was probably her system just trying to get used to the change and to give it some time...she doesn't own a computer so i said i would mention her "problem" on this bulletin board. Do you think RRM, that i told her the right thing? |
| Scott 11-21-2002 09:53 PM | a coincidence... i also wanted to ask about nausea. a couple times recently i've noticed feeling a bit queasy after my liter of orange juice. i don't know if it's from consuming too much too quickly......? |

One can get nausea from a lot of things, such as: - a lack of energy - too much volume (water or food) in the stomach - having consumed not perfectly ripe fruit (or juice from such fruit) Scott, I think I've read that you drink all your juice at once? That may be too much volume for your stomach to handle at once. It is much better to zip from the juice all the time, instead of drinking it at once. Lyn, maybe she is not ingesting enough energy anyway? What does she eat? The most likely mistake one initially makes, is ingesting too little energy. One thinks one does ingest enough, but because of ingesting so much fruit, but whole fruits don't contain much calories. She therefore should try consuming more juices instead of whole fruits, preferably with oil and sugar added. |
