Can anyone tell me ASAP how much different is an unshelled brazilian nut's weight vs shelled one?
I'm tryin to figure out how much to eat daily and buy before I leave for vacation in a few days.

Thanks a bunch!

50 to 52% of the total nuts weight, is the weight of the shell. So, if a nut weighs 10 gram with the shell still on, it weighs 5 gram after you cracked the nut and removed the shell.

That is why a 25 kg (25,000 gram) bag of Brazil nuts in the shell supplies one person with about 35 gram nuts a day during one year: 35 (gram) x 365 (days) x 2 (the weight of the shell added).
