| Author | Topic: Brazil nuts in Mexico? |
| Jaswant 10-24-2002 08:48 AM | Hi... sorry my English. I live in Mexico, in the city of Guadalajara. Four days ago I began to follow this diet and I have a problem. It is impossible to get Nuts of Brazil here... Where can I get them? |
| Wai 10-24-2002 12:42 PM | Julian Farah and Karen are from Mexico, maybe they know??? If you eat fresh raw egg yolks or fresh raw fish, you don't need the Brazil nuts specifically. Then you can eat macadamia nuts instead (bought in the shell, shelled by hand). You can also buy Brazil nuts in the shell from the internet: http://www.nutsonline.com Whatever nuts you buy, make sure that you buy them IN THE SHELL, and shell them by using a nutcracker (this one is designed for Macadamia nuts, which are equally hard to crack, and it can perfectly be used for Brazil nuts as well). |
| julian farah 10-29-2002 02:54 PM | I buy my Brazil nuts at Nuts4u, www.nuts4u.com Wai recomended them, now they have inshell nuts available for international orders, the price is aprox. 18.00 dollars for a 3 lb. package, including shipping (9.00 for the nuts and 9.00 for Shipping) Julian |

| karen 11-12-2002 09:14 PM | I unfortunately had a big problem with my order from NUTSONLINE; The whole package with a years supply simply got lost at the stupid mexican post ofice!!! So I wouldn´t recomend buying by mail... Anyway, this was just my experience. Next week I will be going to the mercado de San Juan in Mexico city, they told me that usually they do have brazil nuts during the christmas time. I´ll let you guys in México know if I got them, ok? For now, Hasta pronto, "y que les sea leve" saludos Karen |

(Dear Julian, thank´s for your message concerning places to buy "in the shell nuts" in Mexico. I´ll keep it in mind. Right now I´ll be going to Sams Club to search for some, otherwise I´ll go to the city next week.) (I live in Cuernavaca, and I started Wai´s diet in February. It went splendidly for me, and I shall continue with this plan for the rest of my life...) Saludos Karen Leonardo |
