what do you think? Seems as though it has be from an unshelled seed??

Tahini cannot possibly be raw, because it is no longer seeds that contain their protective layer, because these seeds are totally crushed/grinded. And thus it needs some heat-treatment to increase its shelf life. (otherwise, it would not last a day)

hmmm....i guess they can get away with stating 'raw' on the label if they started with raw sesami seeds, even if they heated them in the process. [Frown]

I don't have a problem with acne but I would still like to maintain a clean raw diet. Is Raw Tahini Sesame Butter a good food? Thank you for your guidance. [Smile]
