i bought a bag of shelled brazil nuts but the nutrition facts said it has only 5grams of protein. i rember you said that brazil nuts are good because they have a lot of protein. am i buying the wrong brand?

No, you are not buying the wrong brand.
No, Brazil nuts do not contain a lot of protein, they contain very high-quality protein. Because of this high quality, 1 gram Brazil nut protein supplies you with as much valuable protein (amino acids) as 3 gram cow's milk protein.
So, because of its quality, 5 gram Brazil nut protein equals 15 gram 'normal' protein.

Brazil nuts contain 13.6% protein.
So, 50 gram Brazil nuts contains 7.8 gram protein (equalling 23.4 gram 'normal' protein)
