| Carolyn 10-16-2002 11:01 AM | Hello everyone! I am so busy with school these days that i dont have time to go to the supremarket to check out the protein content of cheerios! (and my mother thinks i am going nuts on this diet so she wont help me) hehehe. I found a bag of them without the cardboard & i need to know how much protein they contain be4 i can eat them!!! Can someone help me? By the way...which cereal is lowest in protein? Thanks a million ![]() |

Cheerios not just contain bad protein, they also contain 'very bad' protein; the protein concentrates that they use as appetite stimulators (that is why they are so addictive; mind the very addictive foods!) they also contain quite some salt I think. |

I would have thought that cheerios arent so bad as other cereals because they dont contain as much fibre as most of them do. |
| Wai 10-17-2002 06:45 AM | Well, some munch foods are much more harmful than others because they contain intensively processed protein concentrates (called 'taste enahncers'). You can easily recognize these foods by their 'addictiveness'. I believe cheerio's are such a food. To me, they taste very addictive . |
