I am going to a fancy dinner tomorrow night, and the food I chose (no salad option given) was orzo with garlic and fennel..I think I'm missing an ingredient but I don't remember.
I don't know what orzo is made of; I hope it doesn't have eggs in it.
My skin isn't totally clear yet but I'm going to continue with the sample diet with a bit of munch food after tomorrow. I think it's not clear b/c I've picked it..sigh. One thing I've notice is that my is skin is *far* less oily than it's been in the past.

The funy thing is that you may eat such a bad meal without noticing any bad effects, simply because you have been eating very little bad protein and salt for quite some time. If you continue to do the strict sample diet for a few more days after that orzo, you might stand a good chance.

So, see what damage it does, and once a few days have past, then you can start experimenting with munch foods. If you do that right away after the orzo, you probably will break out.

Yes, that is a normal effect of the diet; the excessive oil production is no longer needed since the outer skin is no longer dehydrated so much, since there is no excessive amount of 'dirty' protein and salt in the true skin anymore (which 'normally' distracts water from the outer skin into the true skin).

Well the orzo meal also included a salad with some kind of sweet Italian-like dressing..I only had a few bites of it..dark greens. The orzo was cooked with zucchini, squash, and tomatoes (I didn't eat the onions included) and either it had olive oil/canola oil or butter. Immediately after the meal my stomach was upset. Ugh.

I didn't enjoy having cooked food again like I thought I would. I'm munching on some oranges now, so much better. [Smile]

I know; the longer you are on this diet, the less easy your body is fooled by the beta-carbolines in making you believe that the food tastes great. Your body has been taught what it is to eat and digest 'real' food, and isn't so keen on 'fake' food anymore; it wants 'da real thing', because it now knows the connection between the food consumed and the food digested.
