| monica 09-08-2002 01:39 AM | I have a feeling you may say too much sodium. Does it make a difference if is made with sea salt? What is the max amount of sea salt one should have in day (if any)? Any benefits to even a tiny bit?? Do you ever use it? And what about cultured foods in general. Do you recommend them (ie kimche)? Do you believe in probiotic supplements? Are they useless and destroyed by stomach acid anyway? |
| monica 09-08-2002 07:49 PM | i just read your all of your Q & As again and it seems VERY clear that miso soup is definately NOT on the program. Other than being a factor in acne, what other negative effects does sodium have on the body? Does sea salt make it any better at all? My boyfriend is a 'salt freak'. I guess i am asking for the lesser of the two evils. ![]() |

Also, salt stimulates appetite (and thus overeating) No, sea salt is not better regarding this. Salt may also dehydrate organs that keep the salt out. |
