Hello all!

Im a trying to do the sample diet (with 15g dirty protein max.) since about 6 weeks now.
I made progress, in the beginning, but i just realized (after having lots of bad food) that im stuck.
I need too much munchfood to get full.
Thats what im eating:

In the first 3 hours of every day im drinking up to 1 litre of self-made orange-juice (probably with an raw egg yolk; 2-3 egg yolks a day) and lots of SUNDRIED dates. I really love them, im eating 300-400g of them at an average day.
Funny story: When i was eating them the first time in my life, only 4 weeks ago, i loved them so much i was eating up to 900g a day, until i got a pretty big headache :-)

My problem begins when it comes to the fatty foods that are supposed to make me full but they arent.
When i get hungry im starting eating brazil nuts and walnuts (look at that big powerfull sledge lying over there). Im eating 8-12 nuts and maybe an Avocado with OOil (its around noon now), but thats not getting me full. Maybe 20 nuts would make me feel better, but i dont want to eat too many until i start to hate them. I think its better to eat 10 nuts with pleasure then 20 for 2 days and them stop eating them completely and switch to frozen Pizza because you hate the nuts now (i did that once, or twice)
Sometimes i was eating 20 nuts, 2 avocados with olive oil and a raw egg yolk over an period of 2 hours. But thats not getting me full. Or is it satisfaction im talking about?
Reminds me of the fruit-test.
2-3 days a week im eating something incredibly delicious.
A big cucumber/tomato-salad, that is standing next to a lasagne, heated at 250 degree celsius, frozen before, with lots of wheat and meat from tantalized cows and pigs feeded with hormones and maybe worse.

Ok, when i was eating the lasagne only 2 times a week i thougt thats okay and i will continue to make progress, but it was getting worse, not better.
i can do a perfect munchfree sample diet for 3 or 4 days, and i like nuts and avocados and LOVE dried dates and self-made orangejuice. the salads are nice too, yes all those things are NICE, but i need something to EAT that makes me FULL and SATISFIED and H-A-P-P-Y !!!

When i was eating those bread rolls this morning, with butter and a coffee it was so delicious, i knew i now had definitely quit the diet.

Please continue this list:
raw egg yolks, nuts, avocados, oliveoil .... .. .. . .. ??

oh i forgot the raw tuna, i was eating it 4 days ago the first time, was pretty good and i plan to eat that maybe 2 days a week now (one piece is 150g thats enough for 2 days/times).

The Munch-Food is supposed to keep us on track, but isnt munchfood increasing the desire for munchfood?

That is NOT the sample diet.
The sample diet excludes ALL munch foods whatsoever.

Of course. That is why you should follow the 100% strict sample diet FIRST.

Yes, because the beta-carbolines and opioid peptides make you eat until you are full.
Eating raw foods, you miss out on the appetite enhancers.
That is why you first need to do the sample diet, so that your body learns what it is to not ingest these appetite enhancers. Once it has gotten used to that, your body will want to eat according to your needs for energy; the way it should be.

Because they do not contain the beta-carbolines and opioid peptides that you are used to need for making you eat. (think of the flavor of baked bread or restaurants; they make you 'hungry' regardless of your need for energy)

Exactly.

Can't you see it as a challenge: Is your willpower strong enough to eat only raw foods for 2 weeks?

I know, we are all cooked food junkies, including me.

Raw tuna, salmon, tomatoes, cucumber, mango, bananas, litchees, strawberries, raspberries, peaches, apricot, etc...
Just ordering a large variety of sashimi in a Japanese restaurant is already a big party for my taste senses.

Yes, all munch food does.
So, what is the alternative? Eating no munch food at all...
That is why the sample diet excludes ALL munch foods. Once you are able to do that diet, you also have the strentgh to start experimenting with munch foods without going overboard.
You know what it gives you (a clear skin and better health), and you know how much that is worth to you.

No Munch-Food for 2 Weeks?
But why do you reintegrate it into your diet after those 2 weeks?
Does an alcoholic reintegrate alcohol after 2 weeks of abstinence, or does any other drug-addict?
Why are you not able to stay clean?
And how are you able to manage munchfood after just 2 weeks without it, when you were addicted to it for 25 or 50 years?
If you gain so much strength that you can handle munchfood after only 2 weeks, why should you even bother about it? Just for the pleasure triggering the junk-receptors in your brain?

You don't have to, of course. But, you can try to find out how much of it your skin can cope with without getting acne again...

Many actually do. Most alcoholics are 'socially acceptable alcoholics'; they drink alcohol daily, without having this ruining their social life.
Most people that drink alcohol, drink alcohol on such a regular basis that they 'cannot' do without it; they are alcoholists, but it does not affect their life too heavily to be recognised as alcolics easily.

I did not say that, at all.
Of course you can stay clear.
On the 100% strict diet, you will stay clear, and if you ingest no more munchfoods than your skin can cope with (which is individually different), your skin will remain clear too.

By using your willpower; your will too stay clear; your will o have a clear skin can be stronger than you addiction to munch foods.
It just depends on how strong your willpower is.

Well, if that is your choice, of course, go for it!!!

Well, eating delicious munch foods CAN be a pleasant experience...
Especially if it does not make you break out...
But if you rather eat no munch foods at all, go figure!

I find that after I have been a long time on the strict diet not only does my skin break out right away if I cheat...but I find it VERY hard to stop eating bad foods.I can't understand how some people manage to eat one bar of chocolate and be satisfied.
If I stick to the diet 100% I can do it.
And I have to stick to melons, bananas, sweet oj and strawberries (plus animal food, fats)to be satisfied.
I find that if I eat apples for example, I "overeat" because they are not satisfying....same thing with fruits like kiwis, acidic citrus fruits etc.
does anybody else experience this?
What do you think are the most satisfying sweet fruits?

yes...i notice if i eat apples(have a lot less calories/more fiber), it never satifies my hunger or appetite unless i eat them with raisins and avocado (higher calorie fruits/less fiber). so probably the most satisfying fruits are the ones that are calorically dense: bananas, avocados, tropical fruits, and dried fruits.
