Keeping away from meat is so hard...but slowly slowly ill cut it out. Maybe being able to eat some as a munch meal will help [Roll Eyes] . How many chicken wings make up the 15g dirty protein allowed? Thanks

i would say maybe 4 wings. but it makes ALOT more sense to eat something more satisfying. i know i'd much rather have a giant baked potato topped with egg-yolk and sour cream and tons of butter than 4 wings. or even better.. a blt sandwich. another thing thats a great idea for a munch meal that i do every once in a while is i order sashimi (at least 4 pieces) and get 2 pieces of italian bread smothered in mayo and put the sashimi on it (salmon takes the best i think). its extremely satisfying to me. so as you can see, you dont need meat. bacon once in a while isnt bad, though. also, i've been looking into dried italian meats lately and im trying to find one that doesnt use heat and is purely air-dried. although, it will still be used as a munch food because im almost positive that the curing process uses salt. so, well see. i might end up making my own dried meat and use a different curing approach. that way it'll surely be perfect to eat. Wai, what do you think of this?

Carolyn, you don't have acne, right?
Only if you don't have acne, you can start with the diet INCLUDING munch food meals.

1 wing, bone removed, contains 9.7 gram 'dirty' protein. (select "1 wing, bone removed", and then click on the "report" button) So, you can only have one and a half wing to ingest the maximum daily amount of 'dirty' protein, so, as Hollywood said, you better eat something else (very satisfying).

Good idea! Then you better learn about this issue first, because you better be well informed when starting such a thing, since you don't want to ingest badly prepared meat.
Some time ago I received this by email:

"...Perhaps you might let some of your readers know that besides nuts and dried fruits, dried beef is also ideal to take along when backpacking for example.
When I make jerky, I simply use raw beef with salt and pepper and hang it under netting in the sun for 1-2 days, or sometimes with a cool-air dehydrator.
It is quite tasty, and other dried spices and herbs (like oregano and crushed red chilis) can be used as well..."

Maybe there is more info about this on the web?
