Has anyone had experiences eating these (like raw cabbage kraut specifically) where they caused acne? Are these a major NO on this diet? Any opinions please! Thanks.

There are reasons why veggies are not included in this diet:

1) With this diet, you likely lose wait while you don't want to. If you don't want to lose weight, you need to make very sure to only consume easy to digest and caloric foods only. Raw veggies are neither; they are not easy to digest because of the enzyminhibitors they contain, and they suplly you with little energy.

2) Incomplete digestion can cause acne. This because acne is caused by the uptake of water-attracting substances such as salt and spices, but also not completely decomposed protein.
Protein is not completely digested when damaged due to the influence of heat, or due to anything else that can impair your digestion, such as physical activity after a meal (distracting blood from the digestive tract to the muscles), or the presence of enzyminhibitors in the food (veggies, grains, beans).
